It seems that no matter what city you might be in, you are not far from a unique geological feature. Much of the land west of Madison and pretty much the entire Interstate 90/94 corridor is extremely rugged and full of wild rivers that flow into the Mississippi. The north promotes fantastic land formations such as the Wisconsin Dells and rock cliffs carved by glaciers. Dairy farms are everywhere, producing milk and cheese products locally and nationally. During 2010, I spent some time around Madison and took many photos of my journeys near the city.
